Year 6 Big Day Out Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp

Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp – various team-building activities: Roping – vertical challenges Water – raft building Land – catapults Land – search and rescue This event is designed to build on the concepts covered in class and celebrate their final year of primary school and provide a memorable experience filled with fun, learning, and friendship. Students will be covering concepts related to the Year 6 Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum, particularly related to: Australia’s connections with countries and how these connections change people and places. Experiences of Australia’s democracy and citizenship, including the status and rights of Aboriginal people in the 19th and 20th century. As well as links to The Western Australian Curriculum’s General Capabilities of: Creative and Critical Thinking Personal and Social Capability Ethical Understanding Intercultural Understanding
